TIPS FOR BETTER WEB BROWSING:
Double Your Screen Size
In many situations it is helpful to have different sections of an article appear in two different browser windows.

You can then move rapidly between the two sections, such as the Introduction and the References, similar to flipping pages in the print journal.

  1. Click and hold the mouse button on a link (in Windows, do a right-click) to call up the browser options menu.

  2. Select "New Window with this Link" or "Open in New Window" and release the mouse button.

  3. The selected link will open in a separate window which can be resized and moved so that it is side-by-side with the original window.

  4. Switch between these two windows by clicking on the title bar of each or by through the "Windows" menu.

Note: The second window may obscure the first so that it will be necessary to move and resize the new window before both can be viewed on your monitor.

More: This technique can be helpful in many situations.

To return to the page you were just on, click your browser's "Back" button.
